Come on, just drag a finger nail slightly harder across it and it'll make a scratch. Imagine placing it on a stone or wooden table repeatedly. You don't seem to have the slightest clue.

Good news, competition is never bad, the more the better. Intel being the monopoly for years brought nothing for the pc market, thank god amd returned to life with the ryzen processors, and now the arm revolution is a great thing for the CPU business

Glass should not be on the back.of a a phone
an accident waiting to happen.
It's just stupid but hey most care more about the screen them the backside anyways, if that's the price I jafto pay to get a superior screen in happy to do that.

Even if I didn't have a case it would not bother me.
Plastic does not break nearly as easy as glass the whole trend on making phones in glass was according to me pretty dumb in the first place and shorten the life span of a product
Or add extra costs when you need to repair not just the front of the phone but the back as well after a drop.
I spend my time staring at the front side of my phone
So if the screen is Better and comes white smaller cutout
That's where my money goes.
Don't like don't buy pretty simple
Don't get so upset in the 3nd of the day it's just companies trying to manipulate you to spend money on them

No thanks. I was thinking of going with Galaxy S series after my iPhone's "life" runs out, but I sure as hell don't want a 800€ phone that has plastic back. It's a pathetic profit increasing move that's s**ttier than stuff Apple is pulling. At least all Apple phones are all metal and glass, even the cheapo iPhone SE regardless of how dated its design is. And now Samsung will put even more plastic junk even on a 1 tier higher Plus model for S22. What's next, S23 Ultra with plastic back? It's pathetic and I'm never going to support that crap.
It's also funny how everyone calls iPhones a "rip off" just because all you do is look at specs and call it a day. Ever thought specs on paper don't necessarily mean superior experience? The "so called" 720p display on XR that I have is nowhere near as annoying as the easily scratchable plastic junk on back of vanilla Galaxy S21. The IPS "720p" display gives me image quality where I just don't care. Phone getting all worn out on edges when normally putting it in and out o pocket would drive me insane. And I know how quickly plastic back gets scratched when you perfectly normally place phone on the table. And everyone is raving how glass can always shatter or break. Gee, why don't we have plastic displays again if they are so brilliant? We had those and no one wants them anymore. I mean, they break just the same as the back. Yet everyone wants glass display, but not glass back (Android fanboys anyway defending s**tty design practices by cheap greedy companies like Samsung). Lets all go back to Nokia 5230 design. Plastic back, plastic display, plastic frame. No? Why not? Plastic can't shatter yo!
If you're all so clumsy that you shatter every phone you have, well, I don't have that issue. I had bunch of glass sandwich phones and I haven't shattered, cracked or otherwise damaged glass on a single one. I've had plenty of plastic back phones in early days that looked like absolute garbage after just 1 year of putting them in pocket or on table. Glass NEVER has such issues and even if back is full of micro scratches, because I prefer white phones, the scratches aren't even visible. On plastic, they'd be all over the place.

JohnPieux, 10 hours agoSamsung makes Apple look like a bargain.No you clearly wrong, i can get a S21 Ultra for cheaper than an Iphone 12 Pro Max and my s21 will have more storage and come with better deals when you buy it from stores. Samsungs devices still are way better bargains than Apples no one will beat Apple when it comes to ripping off customers
