The AirDresser is almost like having a dry cleaner in your closet.
SamsungSamsung is clearly hoping to get a slice of your third stimulus check or upcoming tax refund, because the brand has launched a week-long sales event which it has dubbed the Samsung Discover Spring Event. Each day there will be a new spotlighted deal of the day. Today Samsung has deeply discounted its at-home dry cleaner in a box, the AirDresser, by offering it for $600 off.
That’s not all. In addition to the dry cleaning wonder, Samsung is offering 10% off all purchases in three categories: home appliances (which includes refrigerators, washers and dryers, vacuums, microwaves and air purifiers, to name a few), mobile devices (phones—including other Samsung phone deals, earbuds, smartwatches) and computer monitors.
Speaking of appliances, Samsung is throwing in free installation on select home appliances and entertainment products during the sale, as well as free haul-away and disposal on all home appliances.
There’s one other reason to check out the sale, and it helps if you’re feeling lucky—every purchase awards an entry in Samsung’s contest that includes prizes up to $5,000. To enter, make a purchase at Samsung anytime between March 22 and March 28, and you’ll be automatically entered into the drawing, which commences April 8. First place is $5,000, but there will also be three second place winners earning $3,000 each and a half-dozen $1,000 third-place winners.

It's not often that you run across a completely new kind of appliance. The world was introduced to the microwave oven in the 1950s, for example. And now we have Samsung's AirDresser, which is essentially a dry cleaner in a box. Usually priced at $1,499, right now you can get it for $899, the lowest price this appliance has ever sold for.
The AirDresser is essentially a self-contained, automatic steam cleaning machine that's about the height of a refrigerator (but much more narrow). All it needs is a tank full of water (which you can fill manually—you don't need to run a water line to it) to steam and sanitize your delicate clothing without abrasive chemicals, tumbling or crumpling. It accommodates suits, dresses, shirts and even bedding, like duvet covers and blankets. It's controllable from a touchscreen on the front or via an app on your phone.
As Samsung indicates, the AirDresser isn't designed to completely replace the dry cleaner, and you'll still want to get your things laundered professionally. But the AirDresser can significantly extend the time between trips to the dry cleaner, and having it at home means you can keep your things cleaner and more wrinkle free than ever before.
