Samsung is soon expected to launch a new Galaxy M series phone to take on Xiaomi and other Chinese Android OEMs in markets like India. Key specs of the upcoming budget phone have now surfaced, courtesy of leaker Ishan Agarwal.
According to Agarwal, the Samsung Galaxy M51 will sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. As suggested by leaked CAD-based renders of the phone, it is likely to come with a hole-punch cutout on the top-left corner of the display, housing a 32MP selfie camera. The phone will have a quad-camera setup on the back, featuring a 64MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle-lens, 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth sensor.

The biggest selling point of the Galaxy M51, however, will be its battery life. Agarwal claims the phone will come equipped with a whopping 7,000mAh battery. For reference, that's just 40mAh less than the battery inside Samsung's Galaxy Tab S6 tablet, which features a 10.5-inch display. The phone is expected to support 25W fast charging as well.
Under the hood, the phone is rumored to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 730 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. On the software side of things, the phone will ship with Android 10-based One UI 2.1 out of the box.
